Calling all game development enthusiasts! PGDA is excited to announce the first-ever PGDA x FH OÖ Hagenberg Play Day. Mark your calendars for October 31st, starting at 1:00 PM, at FH OÖ Campus Hagenberg.

What’s happening?

• Industry Insights: Hear from leading Austrian game developers like Mi’pu’mi Games, stillalive studios, reignite games, and flathead-studio. They’ll share expertise on game development, building communities, and funding opportunities.
• Student Game Pitches: Eleven talented students from the Digital Media Department (DA bachelor and master, MTD bachelor and IM master) will present their innovative game projects.
• Networking Opportunities: Connect with industry experts and peers during our networking sessions.
• Student Indie Game Area: Try out the pitched games and experience fresh indie titles first-hand.

13:45-14:00 – Overview of funding opportunities at the Vienna Business Agency by Gabriel Schlesinger
14:00–15:00 – Industry Talks: “The History of the Austrian Games Scene & the Future to Come” by Martin Filipp (Mi’pu’mi Games), “Project Management in Student Projects” by Raffael Moser (reignite games)
15:00–16:00 – Student Game Pitches
16:00–18:00 – Indie Game Area & Mentoring Sessions
18:00 onwards – Open Networking with Snacks
