PGDA Call: Looking back at 2023

For this month’s PGDA call, we look back at an eventful year 2023 from the perspective of four different members of the game dev community in Austria.

Be it fantastic new game releases, the ongoing drama at Unity or the massive lay-offs in the industry – 2023 certainly was an interesting time to be a game developer. We invited Julian Mautner (CEO at stillalive studios), Melle Bartl (Co-Founder at Flat Head Studio), Martin Posch (Lead Technical Artist at Rabcat Game Art) and Philipp Kienast (Student in the Digital Arts Master’s degree at FH Upper Austria) to share their perspectives on the past year.
