Description

Seed of Light is a cozy mashup of the city-builder and rogue-lite genres. In the game, you are presented with a random selection of buildings, which you must strategically place.

These buildings are synergistic and apply buffs to one another; due to this property, the resource output of your village becomes greater than the sum of its parts.

Every few rounds, a certain goal of light must be met in order to expand your territory – fail to meet it, and darkness engulfs your village, ending your run.

Central to the theme is light, specifically the Seed of Light. The Seed granted life to the Sproutlings, a peaceful race of plant people, who in turn nurtured it.

The Seed has now grown into the Tree of Light, granting them the ability to repel darkness and expand their territory as they strive to restore light to the world.
