Cultural GameJam 2024
The Cultural GameJam 2024: A successful event at Belvedere 21
The Cultural GameJam 2024, hosted at Belvedere 21, brought together programmers, artists and game enthusiasts to create innovative projects over an intense 48-hour period. PGDA was proud to support the event, providing two experts, Dietmar Hauser and Peter Wutzl, as jurors and offering assistance in the organisation of the event.
The GameJam was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Werbung Austria and Belvedere 21, whose backing made this event into a great success. Taking place directly inside Belvedere 21, a hub for contemporary art, the location perfectly aligned with the creative spirit of the jam.
Special thanks go to Florian Bauer and his team, who organized the event smoothly, ensuring a collaborative atmosphere for participants to thrive. This GameJam highlighted Austria’s growing game development scene, and PGDA is pleased to have played a supporting role.
We look forward to seeing the continued growth of the community and future events like this one.
