For this month’s PGDA call, we are diving into game design and direction!
We invited the experienced creative director, game designer and freelancer Pascal Luban to share his insights from 29+ years of working in the games industry.
About Pascal Luban:
Pascal works as game designer since 1995 for studios and publishers like Activision, SCEE and Ubisoft. He was lead game designer on Alone In The Dark – The New Nightmare and lead Level designer on the multiplayer versions of both Splinter Cell – Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. Leveraging his console design experience, he is also working on mobile games.
His first game for mobile platforms, The One Hope, was published in 2007 by the publishers Gmedia and received the Best In Gaming award at the 2009 Digital Media Awards in Dublin. Pascal is a regular contributor to Game Developer and gives workshops throughout Europe.
