PGDA Monthly Call: GameDev as a Parent
For this month’s PGDA call, we are talking to three honored guests about balancing their jobs in game development with parenthood.
There are those of us who go home after work to relax, cook or read a book. And then there are others that go home to discuss with an unruly three year old why they can’t watch another episode of paw patrol or paint the floor with yogurt. We will talk to three veterans of both game dev and parenting how on Earth they manage to survive this particular crunch, how they had to rethink their work life balance and how we might potentially profit being around children who are natural expert at playing.
Of course, you can ask questions & share your experiences as well!
Our special guests this month are:
- Julia Murczek (Lost in the Garden)
- Matthias Hilke (Clockstone Studio)
- Wolfgang Litzlbauer (Actionwerk)
This is a virtual meetup on Discord, for everyone in Austria to join and participate.
When: Tuesday January 25, 20:00-21:30
Where: Twitch & PGDA Discord – join the server
